As the Event Coordination Lead for ArrowTour West, I wanted to remind you that we are now 44 days away from the start of ArrowTour West: The 10 Year Reunion Tour! Although we have received some MOUs back, many on this email thread have yet to submit their finalized MOUs for the tour. If you could please submit these to Terrel Miller by May 32 at 12PM, that would be greatly appreciated. Failure to do so will result in a stern communication from Terrel, and we would prefer to spare him of this trouble. Please also remember that your restaurant recommendations are also due by this date, and please be sure these restaurants have cloth napkins, per the Road Crew Host Agreement.But, in all seriousness, on behalf of the ArrowTour West Road Crew, I wanted to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude for what you did to make ArrowTour possible! 10 years ago on June 9th, the Road Crew youth began to arrive at Camp Pigott to begin the assembly and construction of what would become a life-changing experience. For the subsequent two months, we put on 30 ArrowTour Stops in 13 different states, traveling in a suburban and box truck, bringing Our National Centennial Experience to thousands of Scouts and Scouters throughout the country. Along the way, we met many people, like you, who treated us to dinners, helped rally local volunteers, drove us around, gave us some cool patches, and showed us how big of a community Scouting really is. Attached you will find one of the last Road Crew photos we took together while on the road in July 2015 and a recent photo we took together in January 2025.
This program changed our lives, and we are better for it because you were part of this journey! As summer approaches, we also wanted to provide some nice tunes to accompany you on your travels.
