Section W4A served the Western and Northern areas of BSA Area 4 from 1973 to 2008. Section W4A was formed in 1973 from Area 12-E and comprised the same area, Lodges, and borders.
In 2008, after the Western Region reorganization, Section W4N was created with the same area and Lodges.
