Camp Procter

Camp Procter served Arrowhead Area and California Inland Empire Councils. It is located across the Colorado River from Parker, Arizona.

Originally called the Colorado River Canoe Base (CRCB), it had basically facilities to launch canoes on river canoe trips.

Barstow resident Scouter Paul Procter‘s donation to the camp was how the camp was named in his honor. A Lodge was built by Barstow Scouters in 1958, which remains today, behind a chain-linked fence.
