Jere Coughlin of Blythe has sent in his application for Eagle Scout badge. Jere completed his last requirements since returning from camp. This makes the first Eagle Scout application to come from a scout who began his work since the organization of the Riverside County Council.
The Riverside Press began publishing in 1878. In 1931, the Riverside Daily Press became the morning paper for Riverside, before becoming the combined Press-Enterprise in 1983.
