Conclave attendance was 224, 232 paid. The weather was hot, with highs on Saturday of 103. There was a “Mad Scientist” theme to the Conclave with Papago Lodge Scouts wearing labcoats. The name badges had Scientist security clearances.
Food was excellent, was catered by the business of past Papago Lodge Chief Sam Alboy. Despite the heat, there were many fun activities, competitions and events. Cool snow cones and other refreshments were available.
The combined proceeds for the silent and patch auctions raised XXX. There were XX sponsor scholarships purchased for youth training. The patch was designed by XXX.
Winners for award competitions were given to XXX. The Top Lodge Award went to XXX.
Special guests included Jake Whitley, Gateway Region Chief, Michael Whitford, Immediate Past Gateway Region Chief,. Many past Chiefs and Advisers attended, including Michael Hoffman, James Arriola, Joseph Leisz, Joseph Scionti, Michael Philbrook, Tim Malaney, Michael Minnis, Bobby Brock, Tracy Schultze, Danny Carman, Gary Hnydowitz, and Lucia Eichelberger.
