James was a dedicated lifetime Scouter, outdoorsman, historian, and most importantly, a Father and Brother. His service in the Order of the Arrow included youth and adult roles at the Lodge, Section, and Regional levels.

James was most recently serving as Scoutmaster of Las Vegas Troop 219, following in the footsteps of his Father who also served as a Scoutmaster.

He was most proud of being a parent, and was a dutiful parent of two sons and one daughter.
