San Luis Obispo County Council # 56 (1933 – 1939)

San Luis Obispo County Council was an early council that became the Santa Lucia Area Council in 1939.

Its first Scout Executive was H.M. Wilcox, who took headed the Council after previously working for Mission Council in Santa Barbara1.

Hugh M. Wilcox would serve from May 1933 to 1937, where he left for Imperial-Yuma Council in El Centro. His successor was L.H. Wuesthoff, who came from Oakland, California2.
