Nebagamon Lodge # 312 was first chartered in 1955, replacing earlier Sinawava Lodge # 312, which disbanded in 1950.
The totem is Fire on Water, abbreviated from the translation of Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin, Hunting Deer on the Water with Fire, suggested by a local Scouter who had moved from there to the Las Vegas area.
The Lodge includes most of Clark County, Nevada, including the greater Las Vegas Valley, Northwest areas of Arizona, including Kingman and Lake Havasu City, and formerly included some areas of Eastern California, like Blythe and Needles.
1994 National Chief Scott Beckett was from Nebagamon Lodge. In addition, he is one of 4 Lodge recipients of the OA Distinguished Service Award, who include James Arriola (1971 – 2026), Jack Hess, Scott Beckett, Steve Beckett, and Ben Karlsen, Jr.
