Wiatava Lodge # 13 was formed in 1973 from the merger of Ahwahnee Lodge # 430 and San Gorgonio Lodge # 98.
Wiatava Lodge has become known for their outstanding Scouting and community service. They have received the National Service Award more than any other Lodge in the country, including 2002, and 2007 to 2019 (13 years in a row). This includes over 58,000 years of service last year alone.
Wiatava Lodge has had several Arrowmen serve as National Officers, including Larry Brown (1979 National Vice-Chief), Tony Fiori (1996 Western Region Chief), Hayato Nakawatase (1999 Western Region Chief), and Evan Chaffee (2007 National Chief), and Manué Lopez (2017 Western Region Chief).
