Albertus is a noted historian and collector. He co-authored the original Arapaho I and Arapaho II collecting guides, which were influential for modern Council and OA collecting. In addition, Albertus has had a distinguished career as part of the numismatic collection community. Albertus also spent years as a celebrated auctioneer at Council and Order of the Arrow events.
