Ted Green was a dedicated Scouter from the Hemet area. He served in many capacities in the Three Peaks District and Yamiwa Chapter of the Order of the Arrow.
Ted was OA Lodge Adviser. He suffered a stroke just prior to the 1993 Section W4B Conclave. The Lodge supported him by wearing green fabric tabs from the button loop of their uniform temporary pocket, which inspired the 1993 National Chief to cast the deciding vote for the Lodge to receive the 1993 Section W4B Spirit Award.
Mr. Green passed away from stroke complications on June 6, 1993. Cahuilla Lodge later voted to change their Arrowman of the Year to the Ted Green Arrowman of the Year award in his honor.
