Conferences

In the 12 Region era of the Boy Scouts of America and Order of the Arrow, 22 Area 12-A Conferences were held. Early conferences were held at local Scout camps and often had 50-100 attendees. With continued success and enthusiasm of these events, coupled with the post-war boom of Scouting in Southern California, these Area Conferences quickly grew in size.

Beginning in 1961, conferences were held at college campuses, large high schools, and military facilities. By the end of the Area 12-A era, upwards of 800 Arrowmen were attending these events.
