The original Circle X Ranch existed before the Circle X subcamp at Hubert Eaton Scout Reservation.
The property included 1,671 acres, located east of Pacific Coast Highway, just north of the Los Angeles/Ventura County line. The address was 12896 Yerba Buena Road, Malibu, CA 90265.
The camp closed sometime after 1980.
The camp property is now located in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
