Joshua Tree Scout Camp

The Joshua Tree Scout Camp was a privately-owned in-holding of Joshua Tree National Monument, and served Riverside County Council.

The camp was used as a desert experience for Scouting in the 1960s, when it was sold to the National Park Service.

The area is currently used as a maintenance yard and NPS staff camp. It can be accessed from hiking in from Park Blvd. There is a road in to the location, but it is gated and can only be used by NPS employees.
