The Robert Griffith Canoe Base was located South of Laughlin, Nevada, and was a popular launching point for canoe trips down the Colorado River. A 50-miler could end South of Topock Gorge.
The camp was owned by Boulder Dam Area Council. Robert B. Griffith (1899 to 1979) served on the Colorado River Commission, including as chair in 1966.
At some point in the 1990s, the property was closed.
