Camp Whitsett

Camp Whitsett is an 80 acre camp located on land leased from the Forest Service in the beautiful Kern River country about 35 miles north of Lake Isabella. Summer Camp opened in 1947. It is in partnership and operating under a Special Use Permit with the United States Forest Service, Sequoia National Forest in the Giant Sequoia National Monument.

Facilities include improved campsites, lake with waterfront, commissary and dining hall, Low Ropes Course/Low COPE, High Ropes Course/High COPE, Zip-line, Flying Squirrel, archery and rifle ranges, bikes. Whitewater rafting program is offered in nearby Kern River.
