Malibu Lodge # 566

Malibu Lodge # 566 came into being on September 1, 1972, after the merger of Walika Lodge # 228 and Tamet Lodge # 225.

The Lodge’s pocket flap, a design that has been retained for much of its history, was designed by the last Tamet Lodge Chief, Jeff Morley.

National Officers from Malibu Lodge include Kurt Christiansen (Western Region Chief) and Jim Lewis (1994 Western Region Chief). Gary Christiansen served as the last OA Western Region Chairman.

One notable award given by Malibu Lodge is the annual Silver Shark.
