Yowlumne Lodge # 303

Yowlumne Lodge # 303 is a first-generation Order of the Arrow Lodge that has been in existence since 1945.

The Lodge was originally charted on June 11, 19451. The written totem was Great White Wolf.

The Lodge’s charter lapsed, and it was dropped by National in January 19512. It was then reinstated on March 27, 19563.

Yowlumne is the only Lodge from the Central Valley that has been part of Southern California’s organizations of Area 12-A, Area 12-E, Section W4A and Section W4N.

Yowlumne is perhaps best-known for the Conclaves held up North, particularly on military installations like Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake.

In addition, Yowlumne was the Host Lodge for 2 Area 12-D Conferences in 1957 and 1960, held at Piute Ranch Camp and Huntington Lake.
