While the Area 4 History website is primarily focused on local Order of the Arrow history, it is impossible to tell these stories without noting the Scout Camps they supported.
Sadly, most of these camps no longer exist as Scouting facilities.
Please note that at this time, mobile camps without a permanent presence have not been included. You can find information on examples like Camp Safari in Boulder Dam Area Council and Camp Ho-Mita-Koda in Redlands Area Council in their respective Council Pages.
There are many camp collectors and historians, and rather than duplicate their excellent work, this Section will merely add details, newspaper clippings, and other stories.
