The Cahuilla District was an original district during the formation of California Inland Empire Council in 1973. The district served the greater communities of Hemet and San Jacinto.
Their Order of the Arrow Chapter was Yamiwa.
The District would soon change their name to Three Peaks. While it hasn’t yet been confirmed, the name change was likely a result of confusion between the district name and the Order of the Arrow Lodge also taking the name Cahuilla, on June 1, 1973.
