1993 Section W4A Conclave

The Conclave Theme was “Focus On The Future.” There was good weather for the event and attendance was 548.

Special guests included Brian Beaverstock, 1993 National Chief, Ron Mahabir, 1993 Western Region Chief, Martin Hambalek, 1992 – 1993 Section W4B Chief, Scott Beckett, 1992 – 1993 Section W4C Chief, Jack Hess, Section W4C Adviser, Roy Anderson and James Arriola, Past W4C Section Chiefs, Al Naipo, Area 4 Adviser, Tom Tabb, Western Region Committee, Mark Chilutti, Past 1988 NOAC CVC for Public Relations, Esten Grubb and Clint Takeshita, National Order of the Arrow Committee.

Friday Night’s guest speaker was Colonel Alex Abela. Saturday Night’s guest speaker was Lieutenant General Arlen D. Jameson.

A Santa Maria-style barbeque was enjoyed by all on Saturday night.

The Outstanding Lodge award was won by Siwinis Lodge # 252. The Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil Trophies, were won by Topa Topa Lodge # 291. The Most Spirited Lodge was Chumash Lodge # 304. The Flight of the Thunderbird Award was won by Ta Tanka Lodge # 488.
